Cut a small slit on top of the fish head then stick the grass through the slit and jiggle it back and forth. This scrambles it brains and kills it. Am I correct?

Terry, I had not heard of this before so I looked it up in the net and all I could find was something about using a wire and assumed a thick stalk of grass would do the same thing. I lived in a house on the lake for 3 years and we caught and ate a lot of catfish. They don't sell catfish here in Scotland and I'm missing it.
We do not eat the catfish we catch CB,but this Aboriginal guy at a cattle station called Marina Plains on Princess Charlotte Bay showed me how to catch muddy's and catfish,the aboriginal guy lived on Musgrave cattle station,and we were camped on Bamboo Station,he took the catfisf and split em into to gunny sacks,he took one with him to Musgrave and said to us "can we deliver the other sack to his other wife on Bamboo Station",i am not sure how many wives he had on how many stations,,but we did as he asked..>>>>>><<<<<<<..http://www.musgraveroadhouse.com.au/history.html
