    Vegemite tales

    Long over due but I did several different things with Vegemite. And Marmite. I tried it in several different things, from soups, stews, on sandwich's, drinks, and plain on crackers and bread. I don't mind it at all. It's not my favorite just plain or on bread or crackers, but mixed in it gives most other things a very unique added flavor. I would give both a thumbs up, the Marmite seems a little more salty, and the Vegemite has a little more of the yeastie flavor.. By the way this comes from a person that grew up without salt..

      I saw Marmite or Vegemite at our local shop. I'm curious to try both myself.

        As an Aussie I can tell you it's an acquired taste. Spread it lightly to begin. I only use it once in a while myself. Sometimes it just hits the spot.

            Nope not planned. Came home one day she met me at the door, first thing she said:: we have big changes coming around here.. I'm thinking shi+ what the he!! Did I do now. Then she told me she was pregnant. My first though was OMG I'm not ready for this. Then reality set in and I thought dumba$$/you've been married 24 years it's about time.

            I Quite like both,But i last had someone sit on mine on an underground train going to Bakerstreet ,making them least appertizing,and I beleve with Mamite,you have to watch any reactions with certain drugs you may be on,,
