Former First Lady Nancy Reagan has died at the age of 94.
I remember the heart wrenching image of her leaning over and kissing Ronald Reagan's casket.

She must have been horrified as she watched the Republican debates currently on television. Ronald Reagan always seemed so gentlemanly. Theirs was (as reported) quite a love story.

I'm sure she was horrified listening to all the debates and she was more than ready to leave this place. They did seem like a perfect couple, best of friends, very supportive of each other and so in love.
The monkey, "Bobo" I think, would have been a perfect friend for Margaret Thatcher, Ronald was intimidated by her, shame really, he was a good actor.
I hope to goodness she didn't watch the Republican debates thus far. The woman was so much better than what is currently happening. It would be very sad to think her life ended on a low note.

She had my respect and admiration, a woman of strength and devotion, a "First Lady" to set an example for others (some of whom fell ridiculously short).
The kind words of our friends and neighbors outside the US tells me she was respected and admired almost globally. Thank you!
