    What’s wrong with my cat? The vet doesn’t know….

    Mac is not eating or drinking but has consume a little grass. The vet injected saline and B12. Poor Mac is listless, lethargic and just wonders around. James thinks he’s going to die. If need be we’ll wait til Monday and go for very expensive blood test….

        My grandfather's cat  had become listless and lethargic  and she also stopped grooming her fur. She was 7 years old when she died.  I think she had Feline Leukemia.

          Dogs and cats usually eat grass if their tummy is upset and then barf it up! I hope your kitty recovers! Keep us informed!

            Is the cat really old? Could that be the problem....just slowing down and not needing as much to eat?

                May be a kidney ,liver problem. Or may be just a little digestive problem. Cats get that way everyonce and a while. Just like my mother, when sick wont eat . Force feed water . I used pedialyte on my cat several months ago when I was sure she was about dead. She lived. I have even used it on baby pigs, and it works well. Good luck to you, hope he gets better.

                  Thank tou, z. We bought Pedialyte yesterday. Mac runs when he sees the syringe. This is how we administer the antibiotics. 20 days worth, his second round in as many months!

                  change his diet. give him a diff kind of cat food
