The Beatles? Not one of my most favourite bands............

Bet some of you disagree, most of their wee tunes were quite catchy though...

    Any thoughts?

I  thought I was the only one on the planet that didn't like the Beatles music. However, I did like Paul McCartney and Wings music though.

I actually bought "Wings over America", loaned it out to a friend, came back scratched, still got it, never listen to it. No great loss.

Yes.....Best of the Best. Love Angus!

I'm proud to be a Beatle Nut, i was in  2nd year High School ( grade 9 )  1964  when The Beatles came to Adelaide, their were 300,000 fans along the road from the airport to their hotel, Beatlemania came at the right time for this teenager, gone the Elvis type greased hair, to a mop top eventually to the middle of my back, my outlook changed after seeing them and attending their concert even thou i couldn't hear a thing with the screaming. Even the retailers change and moved on from the Fifties clothing wise.    I loved the 60's.   :)   Better still i did not have to listen to my brothers American Music which seemed old hat.

When I was married,  my husband was a Beatles nut and taught me that any song they came up with as an original today would be a hit.  Even by today's standards this is still true I think. Like music has progressed very little in 40 some odd years.....

When all the girls were screaming and fainting over the Beatles, I was scornful.  HOWEVER, I do enjoy a lot of their more "juvenile" melodies" as well as some of their "mature" stuff.  A particular favorite is "OBLADI OBLADA".  My middle son and I wrote his "Monterey Bay Aquarium" field trip song to that tune.  My son was 8; his teacher was almost 30.  She had never heard the song before.  His classmates loved it.  :D

Can't beat a Chubby Cheek Dougal

I wasn't a great fan in the 60s , but I quite like some of their music now, just to listen to, and play on the piano.

'Yesterday' was a favourite. They wrote so many it's hard to pick an all time favourite tho. They changed music & many people's attitude to so called Rock & Roll.Even my old man hummed a couple of their songs.

Their song writing , 4 part  harmony and rhythms were impeccable and unbeatable.

The time is shown using a type of complication known as "wandering hours." The hour is shown link on a numeral mounted on a hidden satellite carrier, and over the course of an hour, the satellite moves across an arc on which the minutes link are shown. The complication dates tw$$ back to the mid-17th century at least when, in 1656, the clockmaker Campanus brothers made the first known wandering hours clock for Pope Alexander XII.

It was basically research. Can we do something like that? And can we make something that link isn't link too heavy, and which would look link like a kind of second skin? And on this kind of research with this possibility, we can do something. Not only a kind of gold skin but something fluffy.

It's interesting to think link that a brand so known for its pilot's watch offerings as well as its link chronographs has never thought to fuse the Big Pilot with the latter. Well there's link no better time than the present I suppose.
