Bet some of you disagree, most of their wee tunes were quite catchy though...
Any thoughts?

I thought I was the only one on the planet that didn't like the Beatles music. However, I did like Paul McCartney and Wings music though.

I'm proud to be a Beatle Nut, i was in 2nd year High School ( grade 9 ) 1964 when The Beatles came to Adelaide, their were 300,000 fans along the road from the airport to their hotel, Beatlemania came at the right time for this teenager, gone the Elvis type greased hair, to a mop top eventually to the middle of my back, my outlook changed after seeing them and attending their concert even thou i couldn't hear a thing with the screaming. Even the retailers change and moved on from the Fifties clothing wise. I loved the 60's. :) Better still i did not have to listen to my brothers American Music which seemed old hat.

When all the girls were screaming and fainting over the Beatles, I was scornful. HOWEVER, I do enjoy a lot of their more "juvenile" melodies" as well as some of their "mature" stuff. A particular favorite is "OBLADI OBLADA". My middle son and I wrote his "Monterey Bay Aquarium" field trip song to that tune. My son was 8; his teacher was almost 30. She had never heard the song before. His classmates loved it. :D
