Yes I do. I rarely ask anyone to help me do anything. As a result, I find that most people believe that I never need help and so they never offer any. I might give the impression that everything is wonderful and I can easily handle anything that comes my way. So untrue.

I use to ,until I read a book by Dale Carnigie,on how to win friends and Influence people,and reolizes that other peoples get satisfaction out of helping others,and I now enjoy being helped,and sometimes help in return,

What a pity you think James is "better"....that's even worse than your political preferences!

No one helps me do anything unless I ask, and I resent when I ask and the help never materializes.

I do like to do things on my own,,i get satisfaction and achievement out of what i achieve,,and when people help,,they tend to want to do things different to me,and i do not want to say no to them,,so it is better to do it myself..>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

The only thing I resented was when my dad used to be needling in my affairs under the guise of helping me..... b/c he always acted like I didn't know anything and couldn't do anything. But, then, he's been gone since I was 36.
