I was walking into an economics class at our community college. The economics professor said, "The Challenger just blew up". One of the students said, "How can that be? It just took off"!

Sleeping like most of Australia, it was early morning here, i saw on the news later in the morning, could not believe it.

I was at my job when the guy comes running in exclaiming "the Challenger just blew up!" and I laughed, I just knew he was joking!

I thought it was a joke too as the professor was, in fact, a funny guy. Then I looked at his face. :(

I was having a drink at a bar in Imber Court,and playing the slot machine,

I was at work, too.  Just a horrible disaster.

I was delivering a heater to a client when I heard it on the radio. When I got there I asked about it, they said they hadn't heard anything so they turned on the TV and we watched it there. Very sad day.. 

Watching the launch on TV  Devastating!  It was a sad day! Especially watching the people's faces on the ground as they realized what happened! SAD DAY
