A couple of experienced business owners who know how to run a business in a professional manner and also have the insight to hire the right people. Some computer savvy IT employees, some sales reps who know how to sell advertising on the web, some moderators who will be given very specific guidelines for their position, a person who answers all complaints in a respectful and timely fashion....(all of the above will be well paid of course)...I'll keep thinking.... :)

That's how I arrived here. Someone in cyberspace, told me to "Ask a Question", so I did! Kinda strange when you think about it. :)
Like Ducky and MsBob, Aka pop up just below browser and i thought i would give it a try, i have been hooked ever since, as i have said before it was rough for me for a while getting thumbs down, i was in minus for the first week and then i was suspended for a week, disagreement with you know who. --- :) ps i still get pop ups.
Some do not ever have "a problem" because a moderator has deleted comments BEFORE they were seen by most. That's the job of a moderator so I guess it works. :)
Come on girls, let set the story straight, i did upset the Americans on this site thus the thumbs down, as for the suspension it was not warranted at the time, because as Ducky said the comments were deleted so others would not see the truth, believe me i was angry with her, i thought she was power mad, because of this my future comments were not as sincere as i would have liked, at least now the site is mostly free to say what we feel.--- Ducky and Pyth i feel are fair and square. i hope i did not upset you both by calling you girls, it's an Aussie thing.

Terry, i'm afraid i would not call any woman 'Sheila/s' as i always hated that saying, i prefer girls, i worked many years ago with 30 women and they loved being called girls. :)
I've never had a problem with the "girls vs women" thing but I know that the younger generation does. Females in the work force here, want to be called 'women' and (many) resent being called 'girls'. I'm (getting) old so I love it. lol

In my state of South Australia it is an offence to wolf whistle a female, you may be arrested, brought about by 'feminists', the women/girls i know would loved to be whistled at. :)

@Terry...Surely you're joking! You would actually walk up to a complete stranger and tell her she looks nice? If a man did that to me, I would assume that either he has no manners or that he has mental problems. I would move away from him and fast!!!
@BM...A 'feminist' is simply a male or female who believes that women should be treated equally and with respect. Nothing wrong with that from my point of view.
We must stop this thread now. It's no doubt driving Bob crazy with notifications. Pose this 'compliment/whistling/feminist' situation as a question and see what you get.

In the moment BM I would venture to guess whistling at someone in a time and place seems like a really good idea... we are all going to become wrinkled old people and some of us are unfortunately going to become hairy and actually go to public swimming pools in Speedo swimming trunks.
Now, that I have written that down I will give the whistling thing to you.

Fish, i'm, 66 one foot in the grave, what looks i had i lost a 50. when i was 25 i could pass for a 'Young Teenager' i hated it , now i am elderly i should have embraced it.

I have noticed that other members ( other than us die hards ) ask what could be asserted as Legitiment Questions as 'we' have always, not all the time used Aka as a social media which i enjoyed, julie is really trying hard i think to bring about what we had originally or am i talking out of my hat. :)

Maybe it has a lot to do with free time and also, a few members have passed away. Some were sick and recovered. ....

There is a lot more pressure. Prices go up but paychecks do not. And, raising a child is very different today. It requires far more parental supervision than ever before.

FISH-O, would it be OK for you to tell us who has passed? Since we generally don't know real names, I hope it wouldn't be intrusive.
MsBob, i was thinking the same, as there are a few members we don't hear from at all, i check the Browser Users, there is a lot more than i thought.
I will have to go back through the archives however there was at least three. One was diagnosed with cancer, a very nice fellow. He was from somewhere like Romania and lived in California. Then there was that lovely Australian lady who had cancer of the mouth. .... and the woman who had lots of kids... Also very nice. I think her cancer was ovarian but I am not sure.
Oh yes, there was a very sweet lady who loved her dog. Her avatar was a photo of her dog, a Yorkie. She wasn't on much and she was also diagnosed with cancer. I believe it was terminal as she was devastated and left the site abruptly.

I did have one real life conversation with her and that lady is a gem. I still vote her answers up if I find one based upon how engaging her concepts were and are. There used to be such a massive feed of questions which went often mis-categorized or not at all. If there was someone surveying those pre-post things might have run smoother but that is just hindsight which is essentially me drivelling ... we also used to attract some really strange personas as well as spam spam wonderful spam. I suspect that the pop-up box system is no longer in place on other web sites, blogs, et al. So yeah baby ... money!
