    I have just seen the Oscar nominee,  Leonardo DiCaprio's REVENANT, i can see why he was nominated, the film is brillaint, but not for the faint hearted, if you can stand blood and gore i highly recommend you see it. i hope he takes out the Oscar as well as Best Picture.

      I've been hearing a lot of talk the past couple of weeks about this movie and DiCaprio's Oscar worthy performance. I can't handle a lot of blood and gore so maybe I'll close my eyes during these scenes. LOL


      This movie was supposedly made under grueling conditions and Leo toughed it out so I think he's certainly deserving of the Oscar.

        CB, my wife told me it gave her nightmares, and i was told not to get the DVD when it is released, i am going too anyway.

        Looking forward to it, Leonardo DiCaprio has grown on me over the years, never liked most of his early stuff.

          that's exactly how i feel. Roy, he has gotten better with age. In this film, with the makeup , it is hard to tell it's him.

          I've only seen one ad for it and it took my breath! Maybe I'll get around to seeing this one, thanks for the encouraging report......

            I saw it and liked it. Maybe for Australian audiences, they could've used a koala instead of a grizzly, but then again, that would've made it somewhat less authentic.
