    I have Mary's on a shelf with movies in need of being put away. Don't know what else to do with it ......

        My favorite Bible is on the kitchen table waiting for me.  I have 2-3 others, and also ones that belonged to my dad, my grandma, and an aunt.

            They say you shouldn't read the Living Bible, b/c it's a paraphrase, NOT a translation. I used to read it too, in the 70s, when it first came out, till I found out that it's a paraphrase. It doesn't teach the real word of the Living God

            You are right MCM,but it is easy to understand,and you must always check it against the king James,,you will find it is very close to the King James..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<

                    Nope. Can't find crucifix information re: hauntings/lack of hauntings, anywhere in the Bible. I think I'm safe. :)

                    I still have my father's bible.I  never use it of course but it's in my bedside drawer.Merely a keepsake.
