Hospital beds are not as odd in a home as they used to be....a good thing for many, though a sad reminder, as well.

Probably the oddest thing in my home is the dusty bi-plane mobile hanging in the kitchen. It came from the Smithsonian Institute for Air and Space back in the early 1990's.

I have a few 'odd' things around ... a pair of Owl's wings ... a fawn skull on a pine stick that mysteriously showed up in the fence post but is now in my garden .... Bigfoot but they're not IN my house [thank heavens!] !

Believe it or not, it is a crucifix affixed on the wall just above my front door entrance. It's been there ever since we moved in, back in 1991. It was my mother's "request" (expressed more like a threatening obligation). Although she passed away in 1996, "it's" still there....and in loving memory of my dearly departed mom, there it will forever stay.
