          Fruit, vegetables,  nuts are very good dry nuts that is not the salted version.  Low fat spreads , cut out the cheese and chocolates my favourites.  Crumpets are low in fat too, believe  it or not.

            For your information, the body also produces cholesterol. There are people who are meticulous about what they eat and still have high cholesterol.

              That's true, Clongey. And some people's medication gives them high cholesterol.And I wouldn't be surprised if my meds is what gave me diabetes.

                AAwwww that kitten makes me miss my Tigger who died at 14 back in Nov, 2014. I had him for 14 years. He looked like that when he was a kitten :-)

                  My mother in law died with high cholesterol. She did not eat much red meat at all before she died.
