      I’m a chicken and too insecure to confront somebody - what if they’re telling the truth?  No, I’ll just fume about it for a while and get over it. I shouldn’t care, after all…….

          "Confront" sounds a bit aggressive.  I might start off with, "I heard you said...." and go from there. If the person denies it, I leave it alone.  Otherwise, try to get to the reason for the gossiping.

            Yep,but they generally just lie about it,so i just walk away after a few chosen words,,I Usually do not talk to them again..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
