The star that tops my tree. My husband made it for me the year we got married. It is a copy of the one my parents bought when they first married during WWII.

Happy Christmas, witchway. What a lovely gift for your husband to make for you! My tree topper is a paper doily that has been transformed into an angel with the miracle of pipe cleaner and fake flowers, some gold stuff and a round paper face. My middle son made it in preschool when he was 3. It's been the topper for 25 years. :D I store it in a box all by itself.

My favorite(s) - the snowflakes that have pictures of my sons in the middle. This year I'll be making some photo ornaments with my grandchildren's photos. Then I'll have MORE favorites.

my favorite tree ornaments are people, gingerbread people, santas, angles. people that have funny face expressions. and then musical instruments and then of course round colored bulbs.
