This guy (Chriss Angel) is pretty memorable. I think he's also done some really amazing magic tricks!     :)

I really can't say, there are so many young magicians these days with some amazing slight of hand tricks, I was never a fan of the smoke & mirror illusionists (David Copperfield etc), this guy Dynamo is my favourite...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qg8HQD5-seI

Nothing stands out in my mind as a particularly stunning trick (although a disappearing elephant sound pretty fantastic).  My sister's college roommate worked as the assistant for Doug Henning many years ago. Henning was from Winnipeg, Canada and died of liver cancer in 2000, when he was 52.

  He was as nice a guy as you'd ever want to know.
