Let's start a band! What instrument would you play?

We don't need managers or roadies, and we already have singers.  We need folks to play instruments!  If you DO have skill, mention that; but if it's always been your dream to play something, that's just as good!  I've studied piano and saxophone, but would love to play:

Ah, enthusiasm! What this band needs more than talent.

I've always wanted to play the Harp, such a beautiful instrument.

A classmate was a professional harpist. She was beautiful from the inside out. Beautiful voice, too. RIP

me too, and the pan pipes
    lindilou

    Gorgeous !

Nope. As someone who can't carry a tune in a tin bucket and can't clap my hands in rhythm (I'm pathetic on any dance floor and cannot follow a lead) I could only promote the album.....

    Bob/PKB

FANTASY. This is one of those "if you could" questions. You know I don't play the banjo!
    jhharlan

OK then: piano. After all I have one…….
    Bob/PKB

See, everyone can contribute to THIS band!

    Keepin the beat goin...........

    I can't wait. I haven't heard from him yet.

Can't even play dead! Always admire anyone who can play an instrument!

    Bob/PKB

You will do just fine in this band, so pick something you think would be fun. One of my sons picked the trombone because that was the one that made the most noise. :D Good thing he played well!
    clu

OK! How about cow bells? LOL:)
    Bob/PKB

Cow bells it is! THOSE are VERY important!

i play percussion instruments. let's hear more.

The didgeridoo, but it is quite hard to learn to play. but it could certainly add a good sound to your band Bob..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<..""

    Bob/PKB

Yeah! Who said we had to sound good? I love it.

I play the piano and Clarinet.  My audience is usually  my cats, they lay beside the piano listening  to me play for hours, but they leave the room when I play the Clarinet,  I think it's  the pitch of the Clarinet, it has a long range , well that's  my excuse.

    Bob/PKB

We definitely need a woodwind section!
    mycatsmom

I'm in the woodwinds, too. I play the flute. the flute ads sweetness to the band or orchestra.

Piano. I did have a hard time reading music. My teacher told me that if I didn't "c" sharp, I'd "b" flat!

    mycatsmom

    Clonge, don't b flat, don't b sharp. B natural

I have zero talent when it comes to musical intruments. I'll offer to be in the audience. One ticket sold already!

    Bob/PKB

We are just "what iffing" here...I'm afraid to touch the banjo my son gave me!
    witchway

I realize that as I'm playing along with you.
