Apparently it offends some as it’s missing the purity of snowflakes and crosses and religious do-dads. I think it wishes all a happy holiday season…..It's a cup.
Crosses and religious dodads....when has Starbuck''s featured cups with religious symbols from any faith?
Apparently, a pot stirrer has something against Starbucks. He said that Starbucks hates Christians because they won't put a Christian symbol on the red cup. He also said that the employees of Starbucks are not allowed to say "Merry Christmas" which is also untrue according to both management and employees!
Our I ♡ radio local talk show spent 3 hours on this today. Obviously, this could have global repercussions
They could replace the red cup with a white cup and say there are all sorts of religious symbols on it but there was a blizzard and now you can't see them. Or, perhaps Starbucks can sell crayons and people can draw their own religious symbols on the cups. You know a seperate area for adults so they can colour the cups until they are happy! Just a few suggestions perhaps. Of all the silly nonsense when there are real serious problems in this world.

Ducky.... Not sure about the others, but Trump has been very vocal about how horrible that Starbucks would have "plain" red cups to signify the Christmas season. That we should all boycott them (even though he owns a Starbucks). All just to bolster his campaign.

Trump just can't keep his mouth shut, can he. I don't think anybody should have to market a product for any holiday, religious or not. A politician chiming in sincerely puts him a VERY bad light for me, not that he was shining all that brightly in the first place....

I watch CNN a lot, along with all of the debates and the never ending political "analysts" with all of the clips that they show. I've not heard that one. Can you find a clip and post it?

Thanks for the links Flip. Silly statements but he makes a lot of those. Still, he fascinates me. Regarding Fox News...I only WISH that I could get it. It costs an arm and a leg to connect to it here...right now anyway. Our local cable company is currently changing things so we'll see what happens with Fox. Whenever I've spent time in the U.S., I've watched Fox. Love O'Riley and others.

Then go to Starbucks. The cup is red with their logo. Another silly rumor has been started, so you can "thank god" (yet again) that your mind won't get tainted. Phewwww.......
