What is your most memorable moment when you lost a tooth (as a child)?
When I was in the third grade living in Indiana, I bit into a roll while eating lunch in the cafeteria and lost my tooth inside the roll. I kept biting onto something hard, so curious to discover what the hard bit was I bit into I pulled the roll out of my mouth, dug into it and discovered my tooth.

Well, CB, it wasn't MY tooth, it was my sister's, which actually broke off at an angle. She was in 2nd grade, I was in 3rd, and we were playing dodge ball on the corridor at recess time. I rolled the ball, she jumped up to clear it, but landed ON it, fell on her face and cracked out the tooth. Maybe that's when she started hating me?

I really didn't lose one; it was forcibly extracted. My cousins, both 8 and 9 years old than me, pinned me to the floor and yanked it, I was 5 or 6 at the time, and screamed my head off! Very cruel!

I remember my mother wrapping a thread around it and yanking it out.....
