Spaghetti, of course, with onion and mushrooms, stewed tomatoes, is a delicious alternative for ground beef.  Make meatballs, if you want, but I just crumble and fry it.

You also could make a box of macaroni and cheese and add the cooked ground beef (kind of a Hamburger Helper thing).

OH, you could get a box of Hamburger Helper!!!

I'm making a Tamale pie for supper tonight with hamburger meat but chicken and pork may also be used.

   

   Some other  dishes I make using hamburger meat are:

Beef Stroganoff

SOS

Cowboy Stew

Chili

Stuffed Bell Peppers

Cabbage Rolls

Sloppy Joes

Meatloaf

Beefy Vegetable Soup

Beef Enchilada's

Skillet Rice Fiesta (moms recipe)

Mushroom Burger Patties

Cheeseburger Pie

 

 Pizza Pasta Casserole is also very good when your ready for tomato-ish dishes again. I'm making one Monday.

My wife makes Shepherd's pie which has a lot of ground beef in it.

my mom used to say, don't buy hamburger. Buy ground meat. Anyway, you can make a stew out of ground meat. First, brown it up and crumble it. Then, put different kinds of fresh cut up veggies in it and potatoes. Then , cook it till the veggies are done. It's very good.
