Since withdrawing from SIHH, AP has released watches on its own terms link and timeline, sometimes overlapping with other industry link events and sometimes not. In the past, we've discovered new products on the AP website, sometimes major ones, that were added without any fanfare at all. That was the case back in 2019 when they added the first Royal Oak Minute Repeater Supersonneries with Grande Tapisserie dials back in 2019. Now we have link another one joining that growing assortment.

The new watches link for this year are very much in link line with Tokunaga's vision that was realized in 1975. The Caliber 7C46 is robust and reliable, and reliability is paramount when these link watches are actually used by the market they're intended for. Sure, collectors make up the bulk of the model's sales, but for the few saturation divers that are out there that need a watch, this is the model, and it's great to see Seiko iterating on the design in such a restrained fashion.
