    Other than parole, no. There is no follow upping......


    Keep in mind that most every person released from prison is placed on parole....

    And if they break parole or probation, it's back to jail.

    I believe if you are released prior to serving your full sentence, you are on parole, and must keep in contact with your parole officer, following strict conditions for the duration.  If you serve your full sentence, you are released free and clear, having fulfilled your full obligation.

    As JH said,only if you are released on parole,,depending on what you were in for, you might get pulled over by a cop,on a random check?????????..yeah right..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
