I've been locked out for 3 days now the site's back but I cant read any answers???

Hi Tommy! We're all (I assume) in the same boat. I have been emailing with admin and as you probably are already aware, akaQA is off the Google (promotion) list which makes "new questions" almost non-existent. I asked if the site could still remain "up" so that we could at least chit chat with each other. (Maybe this is what they did?) They maintain that they are trying to get the site back to "normal operation". Here's hoping! This is the best that I can do as far as an explanation. I miss everybody!

Changes may continue to take place. I know that, so far, my TU's are not deducting from my total of 75. Curious, did you get my TU for this question?

UPDATE: TU's are deducting from my total now, but my notification button seems to be stuck on the same total and I cannot read them. Site is slow but sort of working, so we'll take it.

Check now clu. It says 5 answers and there actually are 5 answers. The site seems to take a while to "catch up". I have the same problem with vote-ups, notifications etc......never current totals.

Yeah. I thought the site was dead & gone.It's still a bit weird.The notifications aren't working properly but I guess we can deal with that.

Hanging on for dear life, Tommy. Heading to tournament this weekend and two grandchildren have birthdays next week. Going to Broadway production of "Book of Mormon" and then meeting Julie in NYC for 10 days. Got some side trips planned and very excited to meet Clonge for lunch. How about you and Maggie?

We're doing OK.It's been school holidays for the past 2 weeks so the grandkids have kept us busy.(A welcome distraction).They're growing so fast now. Our little Jamieson is almost a teenager and her little sister wants to be just like her.It's a beautiful thing to see them together.They are so close.Say G'day to Clonge for me.

Yep. Fatal error was the message. Amazingly, no fatalities so far. Did you read my first comment under Tommy's question? They're working on the site. I'm experiencing/observing various "glitches" but we'll all just have to be patient and see what happens.

If you were not logged in, you did not get the "fatal error" but you could not log in either. You could see all the questions but not access them. About the only thing that worked was the Contact button at the bottom of the page.

I just got back thursday, checked out the site and nothing, i thought the site was kaput, today, saturday it's up again, i gave a tu's but it does not deduct from my total, at least i can answer/ comment, :)

It's been back up for a couple of days. Very slow with several glitches but they do seem to be working on it as there are different "glitches" at different times.

I just checked again and there it still shows "No data available" when I click onto a members profile page to see the questions they have asked and their answers too.
