Thanks for sharing this article. We use a wire bristle brush to clean the grill. I'll put a roll of foil under the lid along with the cloth....although I wonder if my son even bothers to clean it. :-0

You're welcome. I've posted articles about this danger in the past. There were several instances in Rhode island a few years ago, where pieces of the cleaners broke off and were ingested; luckily nobody died.
