My Eldest brother had one the exact same as the photo, Terry , had it a week before he rolled it and wrote it off, handled like a barge.
1951 Chevy. Bought it from a guy for $25, put another $25 in parts to make it road worthy. Cost me another $25 in towing fees after I rolled it over a 15 foot bank at 70 mph.

Thanks MCM, but I never really went away. I just had no interest in commenting nor answering 2 and 3 year old questions.

Yes like that Roy, only mine was an estate car shape, and it had a creamy/ white steering wheel that's what attracted me to it. I thought I was Jack the lad , those were the days, no worries just all good fun.
I honestly don't remember much about it except that it was a 60's model, brown, rusting out, and burning oil almost immediately after my purchase. I bought it (real cheap) from a relative who took advantage of my naivety regarding cars. After it was learned that he had taken advantage of a lot more people, in a whole variety of ways, he's was "subtracted from the family". lol
