The network license for this site runs out in May 2015, can't see the "owners" paying for an extension for something that no longer appeals to big money advertisers.

Can somebody pose a question so that people can reply by listing their "names" and email addresses here? For those who are apprehensive, perhaps they can set up a separate email just to receive and send messages.Would this violate any policy? If akaQA "goes", what's the difference anyway?

On behalf of all of us, I tried to find out. During a recent exchange of emails (April-2015), re: the dead forum and the lack of advertising, I received the usual "non-answer-answer". I asked again. I was then accused of being "pushy and threatening". (Ridiculous.) Then, this very "telling" email and I quote (including typos):

"Dear Ducky, You don't pay us for any service, therefor we are not obligated to provide you with any answers. If we decide to advertise the website, it's our business consideration to make - not yours. Good day. Regards The akaQA team"

According to the "admin", there is no head moderator, never was, and no one moderator is given more information than any other. At least, that's what they told me about 2 years ago.

It is a mystery why a lot of stuff about the site. We can't make anything happen, so will just wait and see. Some day, we'll try to light on and there won't be any way to do so.
