I LOVE Taco Bell, love it.  A friend suggested I pitch my tent in TB's lawn. Can eat there cheap, can eat 'til full. This is so for most of my 57 years.      

I grew up living only 2 1/2 hours from the Mexican border so I've traveled to Mexico a few times to have authentic Mexican food. The people being interviewed are correct, Taco Bell is an  Americanized  version and nothing like the real stuff.

 I loved to eat at Taco Bell when I was a kid on up into my mid 20's, but the quality of their food has diminished severely. The beef has a funky texture to it, the guacamole is bland, the cheese is delivered frozen so the consistency of the cheese is rubbery and the beans are dehydrated.

I must admit I do like their Beef Meximelt  even though it looks like crap.

I have 6 bottles and two cans of Salsa Verde. Maybe I'll make some Haggis green enchilada's or Haggis taco's. That actually may be good. LOL

Taco  Bell started here , in Mich. , in the  70s. So, I have been eating it since I was in my 20s. My mother started eating it when she was in her 80s and liked it right away. We've got them all over the place here. Have tried everything on the menu. Don't forget to try the side dishes. .........the fiesta potatoes and the rice and beans.
