I have to wear glasses/spectacles , otherwise I have difficulty finding my way around, and answering questions. It doesn't make me look or feel any more intelligent, unfortunately.

i don't want to appear more intelligent, but i do wear glasses sometimes when i want to play like i don't want to see someone or something. Maybe glasses help me keep focus when i need no distractions.

In my H.S. , the boys wouldn't ask out  a girl who wore glasses. My parents wouldn't get me contacts, b/c they didn't want me to be happy.

But, I do include my middle initial when I sign checks or whatever.

I wear glasses, and do not look any smarter, but at least I can see.  They also make my round pink face look less round and pudgy!
