When it comes to the office of the president, we need strength, intelligence and leadership, not an apologetic entertainer. Obama can save his talent for Hollywood.
Those needed qualities CAN be found. Possibly even in a foreign-born candidate. Canada has had four; three of which were born in Scotland, of all places.The first one, Sir John A. MacDonald hailed from Glasgow, if you can believe it. Rumour has it he indulged, rather frequently, in the drink. A wise and sociable chap was he.
The US Constitution prohibits foreign born people from being president of the USA. We need to cap the spending power of candidates so that even a blue collar person can afford to run for president. I'm seriously tired of having only recycled names (bought and paid for by the party) to choose from in each presidential election.
