My brother had to have his leg removed too and he was taught that when phantom pain emerged in the missing leg he sits with a large mirror perched beside him to reflect his existing leg and he looks at the reflection and massages out the pain in the existing leg! Strange but it works! As for teeth pain where there are no teeth... I honestly do not have a clue but if it continues I might take an Advil? Maybe call the doctor and say 'hey what's up with this?' !

Jh, my dad's cousin, Ilse, ( pronouced Elsie ) had her leg amputated all the way up to the hip in the 20s. That's the way they did it then. Now days, they try to leave the knee. Anyway, she used to complain bitterly of phantom pain in the leg that wasn't there. I just remember her taking Tylenol # 3 for it.

Phantom pain is one of the oddest phenomena I have studied. It can be used to demonstrate the spiritual presence of a person by measuring responses in the electro-static charge level in the air and is indicated by animals that need not be in the same room. But then proving the existence of such oddities is considered to be a challenge for skeptics who survive on their denial.
