    FOOL ME ONCE

    shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.

Any examples of your own "shame on me" experiences?

Mine would have to be letting down my guard as regards my sibling. She never fails to disappoint and prove herself detestable.

Lost a few "friends" like that, my generosity & their greed.

Don't we want to believe the best of people, that they are trustworthy, honest, and have a smidgen of integrity? How stupid is that!
    ROMOS

Some folks just don't see it that way unfortunately. :(

"karma" is more than 15 useless points

My mom made liver and onions on several occasions.  I would gag trying to choke it down because it tasted so bad,but she kept insisting it was steak and she knew I loved steak so I kept eating it. She fooled me more than once.  If it wasn't for her lying to me then I would not like liver today.  Thanks mom. :)

    Lambs liver.
    Bob/PKB

To this day, liver is hard for me to accept. It was disguised as steak at a buffet and I took a huge serving (loving steak as you do) and absolutely gagged on that one and only piece that went into my mouth. A long-term BF would make it with onions and bacon, eating it with pleasure while I looked on aghast. Perhaps I shall try it again, if cooked properly (with onions and bacon, of course).

Thank you. I'll consider it...I'd say "on a rainy day", but that would mean right now.

    Bob/PKB

Be brave little duckling and one day you'll turn into a beautiful swan.

If I have to eat liver to get to swan status, I'll stay ugly! LOL!!

What gets me is that it smells so good but liver is too mushy! YUCK!!

I love it, with onions and bacon, we ate it when I was a kid because it was cheap, and we were poor...

Chopped wieners, pasta shells and canned tomatoes mixed together with garlic toast made from loaf bread.

My cats will pull a fast one when it comes to getting their “sneaky snacks” off schedule……...

Thought they were "gone", glad to hear they're fine and dandy.

They are your pets! I don't like Dieszal on the couches, but I've made a place for him on my bed. Peanut isn't really happy about that, but it's a big bed.
    jhharlan

No, Romos. He made it home thank to new technology (he’s been “chipped”)…….
    ROMOS

    Not "crispped" then?
    ;)

The microwave it too high. Do what I may, I can’t teach them to push the buttons anyhow……..

Thanks CB I have not missed them! My youngest daughter seems to miss her father but he really wasn't much of one. I would never disrespect his rememberance to any of my kids though!

"AGAIN". My experience has led me to the conclusion that a cheater is like a leopard....he can't change his spots. Why do we insist on learning so many things the hard way!?

When grandkids tell me "mom lets us do ________"  I fall for it, and spoil them, everytime...  Daughter gets mad at us for it, oh well..

    Bob/PKB

It is easier and more fun to let them do extra stuff. My home is so small and cluttered, I can't let them go too crazy. My G'kids are still young enough to not know how to play that card! :D
    mycatsmom

    They're playing you, Bustie

Probably when my friend tricked me into saying that I eat dog poo, twice. XD

    Bob/PKB

Well, ICK and ICK again! That must have been some pretty slick trick.

The 2nd George Bush really slaughtered that slogan . He was trying to quote it, got mixed up, got it mixed in with The Who .........saying .........'' I'll never be fooled again   "    Ha ha hahahahahaha
