Exactly how much money does it cost for a child to attend tennis school (s) during the journey to become a competitive and ranking tennis player? Is this a wealthy kid's sport only?

I do think that any school which offers a sport, along with the further education of any athlete, will be very expensive. The potential for that student to make quite decent money in the future, is part of the justification for the tuitions that they are able to charge. They accept only the best (at that level) and the most enthusiastic of students.

My answer is based solely on what I've been told by parents, in regard to universities which offer hockey programs.....big $$$.
