meat, cabbage, chickpeas, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant (but only because I happen to have one), green peas, barley, quinoa, green and red peppers, etc. Healthy and full of fiber. Will last 3 days here…oh and corn…….

Quinoa (keen wah) is a grain, kind of like a pasta, cooked like rice and a perfect side to anything. It contains ALL 9 essential amino acids required to sustain life. I like it with cooked veggies but is good with gravy, too…….

Yes, time to change the clocks again here also.

I made a big pot of chili yesterday.....hamburger, red kidney beans, chick peas, mushrooms, onions, garlic, tomatoes, hot sauce, ground chili peppers.....so good (even if I do say so myself). :)

@jh...I like chick peas too. I've only started using them in recipes in the past couple of years because so many "healthy" recipes call for them. I like them in salads too.

We took the bus home from town a few days ago and ROMEOS and I sat down next to a lady I've met a couple of times here,we didn't recognize each other. As soon as I started talking to Roy she shouted my name, she said it had to be me.

On Saturday morning, I changed all the clocks, because I was heading out of town for the State Senior Bowling Tournament (my team is in first place by 200 points over 2nd place), and then thought I had an hour more time to get ready than I actually did.
