    can a battery die if you do not drive enough

    Yes definately. You should start your car at least once a week & let it run for 15 minutes or so to charge the battery.Modern cars have so many electrical things that keep on running even after you have switched off the engine,they all drain battey power.

    The Electrolite in a battery needs to be activated ,by charging and discharging to stay in a healthy condition,I,E,Run up the engine as tommyh as surjested,
