Since so many akaqa people prefer the 'old' format, do we have a choice, which one we use?

I click o the new one now & again just to see how it's going.No problem getting back to the old one.I still prefer the oldie but I think that's something to do with my age & unwillingness to change.

@terri....Everything new is confusing. Surely, you have been in the work force and the boss changed a system? I've been involved in that, many times....always lots of grumbling but then the realization hits that it's changing.....period! The sooner you use "the new way", the easier it is on your nerves. As the old Nike ad said, "Just do it"!

Apparently so far we have,,however whenever someone offers you an alternative to something,,it means they want you to use the alternative,,the trick is to be able to see the cohersion that is used to manipulate you to the alternative,,watch this space..>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Every business owner, everywhere, can do exactly what they want, whenever they want and I wouldn't call that coercion or manipulation. It's the right of the owner/entrepreneur who risks their money (not mine or yours) who has the say. The result is that sometimes, their customers don't like it and they leave. That will definitely be OUR decision (yours, mine and the other members.) That's the way I see it anyway.

the feedback page offers 4 instead of 10 now. irritating. the 10 page was easier to read. living in silicon valley, tech people are earning an average of 80,000 and many a lot more. when people are paid all this money to 'improve' websites, phone and everything, they are not going to change back because somebody does not like it. well i guess if we all want to stay in communication, we better learn to love and like it. another good thing, we are all still here on the planet. cause i almost left a few times. so i'm happy.

i have been on the new format. now i'm on the old format. i think maybe the new one is in some type of testing phase, but what do i really know. any answers by the anyone is appreciated.

MCM,as far as i know i am still on the old one,i have never clicked on the new one,,,chose not to,do not know how long that will last for....>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

@terry.....It looks as though "old format" is now gone. I guess everyone will just have to adjust. Is it really that difficult?

I am unable to post an avatar at all. The old version allowed cropping, the new doesn’t and my photos are all too large. No, I like the old version. The new is neat looking but so was the old……….
