Did either of you get called to "come on down"? Did you get on stage? Did you even get on camera as they pan the audience?
A friend of mine went to California and The Price is Right, back in the 80's when Bob Barker was the host. She said he was so rude with his staff that she never watched the show again because that ruined it for her.
I would like to be in the audience for one of the late night talk shows.

I've just started occasionally watching Jimmy Fallon and also Jimmy Kimmel....they are both very funny. That would be a fun trip I'm sure. :)

There is a show in the UK called Tipping Point. I thought it was boring the first few times I watched it, but it grew on me and now I look forward to seeing it every afternoon. It keeps Roy and I on the edge of our seats waiting to see when the counters will drop and how many. The host Ben Shephard has a great personality and he's a cutie patooty too. I think Roy would be a great contestant.

In the late 70s, my b friend at the time were in the studio audience of The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.Before the show, somebody was warming up the audience by having the aud members get up and tell a joke. Then, he said , " Now , does anybody have any clean jokes ? ( I think he meant non-ethnic jokes too ) So, he picked me to stand up and tell a clean joke. I got a few laughs.
About in '89, my then alive husband ( Joe ) and I were in the audience of a local talk and variety show. It was about vasectomys . LOL . The host asked if anyone in the aud wanted to ask a question. So Joe raised his hand and they picked him So he got to appear on live TV !
