I have it Dave, I also just received a new router hub from Virgin media, I must admit I've not seen anything faster out there, even though all the other companies will tell you that they're fastest.

My land line contract is with talktalk, I've been looking on their website and their fibre optic system is £5.00 a month extra at first. and then increasing to £10.00 extra. But of cause they all do all in deals now don't they, so I may invest in a up to date telly and have that and the phone line all together. I have Sky at the moment, and they are not particularly helpful to customers like me who's been with them for donkeys years, so I might change.
Phone Sky and tell them you're leaving for another server, I did this with Virgin and they virtually halved my bill for the next 18 months.

You must have fibre optic in America surely Julie, I live in a little Essex village and it's coming here at last. Mind you it's all a new language to me.

My experience dates back to the 1960s. The technology was just being developed. Every thing I said about it was gagged into oblivion and apparently is still in the dark somewhere. Nothing like folks who like to hide things to secure their position. Make the world safe from secrecy...consider it a form of mental illness...afraid of the consequence if anyone knew.
