I use yogurt instead of the expensive over the counter yeast infection creams when I a yeast infection and it get rid of it every time. The yogurt helps with the itching too.
If you decide to try the yogurt you can freeze the yogurt inside the plastic tampon tubes and insert one as needed.. It's obviously a little cold, but the coldness gives almost instant relief from burning and itching.
