How old are you?
I have a lovely wee piece of porcelain dating back to 1541, it's still in one peice, but of course that's because it's never had to chew anything, on the serious side, I've had mine for 15 years now, never had a problem, I hope they find them when they dig me up in a couple of million years.

I just came back from the dentist. He's installing a new crown; the one he installed 3 years ago cracked. I very rarely eat hard stuff; haven't had a steak in 10+ years. US$1,300+
He doesn't make the crowns; he gets them from a dental lab. Perhaps I can sue for defective merchandise.
Only $1300.00? This one will crack too! Just kidding but a real deal compared to here. Good luck with the new one. :)
I've had one for 7-8 years but I couldn't really get an answer from my dentist. I think there are many factors involved so they cannot say for sure.
