    Which step ladder is safer to climb? Wider, narrower, or are they the equal?

    it will depend on what you want to use it for and how high you go and how much weight you want to put on it,,,,hope that helps mate....................................................................

    My hands sweat when I drive across a bridge

    A wider step ladder will be more stable when standing on the ground.

    I think I'd feel safer on a wider one.
