Blood pressure is the force of blood against the walls of arteries.
High blood pressure increases your chance of heart disease, and is dangerous because it often has no symptoms.
Prevent high blood pressure by reducing sodium (salt) intake, being active, and keeping a healthy weight.

116/74 last night. I'm 62, borderline diabetic, high cholesterol. Don't take anything for granted, especially those good numbers last night.

Mine was always a little low, when I was skinny. I was always skinny till I had a hysterectomy 7 years ago. Then, it made me put on weight and thus got mild diabetes too. Have high choles. My B/P would prob be high if I wasn't already taking a pill for irregular heart beat. We baby boomers will refuse to ever say we're Old. We'll say " We're older "
