Hahahaha! Roy walked into the shop the other morning and said hello to his best friend. His buddy asked him if he had been eating garlic. We eat garlic and onions on a daily basis. No wonder people avoid us. (*~*)
Gilroy CA is just a few miles from me, it's the Garlic capitol of the world, over 70% of the garlic used in the USA comes from there.. They have garlic shops up and down the highway, they sell garlic everything! Ice cream, jelly, candy,brownies,wine even-- you name it, they stuck a garlic clove in it. I bought a jar of pickled garlic cloves, I love em!! I ate the whole jar!! The next day I went to work, they sent me home because I stink! It was coming out of my pores for 3 days! I haven't touched em since but they are sooo good!! :)
Garlic is one of my favorite cooking ingredients. Chew fresh parsley after consuming it...tones the breath down quite a bit.
I agree MCM. ROMEOS had a tooth ache and he sucked on raw garlic for a few hours and his tooth ache went away and has not come back since.
Cat-- Next time you fix a steak on the broiler do this.
Chop garlic- mix with corn oil or oil of your preference, not olive oil! It burns. add salt and pepper, Chopped parsley. Bast the steak with this as it broils, then when you serve it, pour or baste over the done steak. Yummy

LOL MCM. I read an article that said most men go wild over the combination of Lavender and Pumpkin Pie or Pumpkin Pie Spice candles. It's time to go candle shopping. (*~*)

Lavender calms me. Orange blossoms, Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Gardenias have scents that calm me, too. At my age, it's important to resonate calm.

My wedding bouquet had gardenias and the scent really calmed my nerves that day! They are edible, too, you know.
