Of course! Ethics, in a nutshell, has to do with honesty. If you're honest about things, you'll never have to try to remember to"whom" you've told "what". That must cause a loss of peace and be extremely tiring.

What do you want hector? lol

Personally, I feel better about myself.  It's a little consolation when the unethical come out ahead MOST OF THE TIME.

I think it just takes a little longer for them to "get theirs". I'm secretly joyful when it does happen. (Shame on me.)

If unethical comes out ahead, it does not bother me because the person may outwardly appear a winner, but inside lives with conflict and sometimes guilt. Let's say in the process he/she accumulates lots of wealth. This person has neither the time to correct nor understands that NOTHING will go with him upon death except the bad deeds for which he/she is answerable. So none gets away. I am glad you feel better about yourself.

Well,Yes, especially on the job, b/c you don't want to hurt anybody, or goof up your job. And if you're in business, you want to be ethical,so customers will come back .

To serve the will of God is peace of mind.

Not necessarily. I know a number of scrupulous scoundrels that are very much at peace with their behaviour.

I've just re-thought some past "dealings". How quickly I had forgotten. :)

I like to think that I have always been ethical in my business dealings.I never got many complaints & when I did I rectified them. You get what you give I always say.If you expect honesty you have to be honest yourself.

i agree with digger.  peace of mind comes about when one does what one was conditioned to do.  if one was trained to be an outlaw, one will be happy and at peace if he/she is a good outlaw. for the average people, we were trained/conditioned to have certain  values.  we feel bad and guilty if we don't live up to them.  Thus, peace of mind comes when your body does what your mind was trained/conditioned to do. That might be good, bad or ugly.
