    how can trany oil get in to motor oil in a case-international 3394 tractor?

    Are you sure it's transmission fluid and not hydraulic oil?

    transmission & hydraulic oil are the same,called HYTRAN

    Well not to someone who does not repair tractors. When looking for repair help, it's best to be specific. Transmissions use tranny fluid. Hydraulics use Hydraulic fluid as far as I know.     for trany oil to get to motor oil, it would have to go past your clutch and spline,,i do not know how it could do that,but i am only a back yard bloke..............................................................................

    Ya,that's what I've been told.I've had it checked by a mechanic & said he could not find anything, just hoping maybe somone else ran to this problem & had different answer. THANKS
