House sitting and dog sitting...Rates to charge?
Has anyone any experience of house sitting and dog sitting..my friend has been asked to do this for 14 days and nights while affluent family who employ a lot of staff..nannies,cleaners,tutors,gardeners...Husband works in music industry signing groups eg 1 Direction...No idea of a reasonable rate to charge per day..has to be there at night too as dog can`t be left alone...maximum time away from house in day is C5Hrs..so it`s quite a tie!...Any suggestions would be appreciated in GBP!..Thanks

£18 per hour these days, I charged more than this in the 80s but needs must, go for it!

Thanks shall pass it on..not very lucrative but she is a single mum to a teenage kid so prob will help a bit!
She`s laughing..she`s just called me to say she`s getting GPB 35 A day plus extra dog walking and they have use of the games room and underground pool!!..

I`d do it for nothing..just for the peace n quiet and not having to leave the building to use the pool! :-)
@Bob...That has to be one of the best jobs!..Two weeks no bills and staying in a nice house with all the extras..If I didn`t have my clan,I`d seriously look into such a job!
