Tabby, would we find you to be like if we saw you in person?

mycatsmom if people met me in person i can't say they would be surprised maybe just a little. But i am very much like i am on this site. i describe myself as very communicative, friendly, polite, and i love debates. i love chatting with everyone. i'm always talking to people, strangers, kids, young and old people. i'm always asking people questions about things and themselves. what's funny about it any and everybody will talk to me and answer my questions. fascinating. i'm a naturally curious person and people seem to not mind. i look kind of sociable and friendly and i am.

I don't think they would be surprised except for assuming that I was younger than I am.  People who have only "met me" over the phone, then meet me in person, say that I "sounded so young"! (My mother sounded like a 30 year old when she was in her 80's.) I often enjoy people who are younger than myself so perhaps I am also "less mature" than they thought.        :)

I have often wonderd if i should be talking to you as you sound so young,

    Hector, You Bee Funee!

Well, I d o post my picture on here but, there is so much more to me.  They’d be surprised……..

Well, definitely.  Who would expect to find me in Australia, or Texas, or England, or Scotland, or Canada, or anywhere but Fresno, knocking on the door unexpectedly.  People would be VERY surprised indeed!!

I would be shocked but also happy to meet you. Maybe you could give me just a little notice? I'll vacuum! lol
    Bob/PKB

Well, Ducky, that would be very unnecessary. If the dishes are done and the kitchen counters wiped, I'm good. That means a lot more to me than the vacuuming! (But I'd be happy to help you with the dishes, too.)

Okay then...counters wiped and dishes done. Come on up! :)
    Bob/PKB

I'm so excited. What an opportunity.

I recently changed my avatar to a picture of me taken 40 years ago just to see what reaction I got.I don't think anyone would recognise me now.LOL

    Bob/PKB

You don't look like I would have expected you to look 40 years ago, either. Way different, but still very nice, for sure. You look gentler than I pictured.
    Tommyh

    Gentler?? LOL
    Bob/PKB

Yeah, I just pictured you a gruffer looking guy, because you are pretty straight-forward and speak from experience. You look very gentle...maybe all the cute children surrounding you! Beautiful family.
    Tommyh

Thanks Phyl. The little girl on my lap is my youngest. She's now 40.The little boy is a nephew. That shot was taken on the ferry to Coochimudlo Island in Moreton bay Near Brisbane. We were on our way to a day trip picnic.
    Tommyh

PS.I'm never gruff with my girls & they know it.LOL
    Bob/PKB

Very sweet. We know you are a softie from way back. .. Of course who should benefit more than the kids. I'm way more peaceful than you might imagine. .. avoid confrontation
    mycatsmom

Tom, I wondered if you were the young man, or the kids .Why can't we see an up to date pic of you ?
    Bob/PKB

MCM: Didn't you say YOUR photo is a couple of decades old?
    mycatsmom

PKB, I had my current pic on here for a long time. Don't you remember ? !!
    Bob/PKB

Yes, MCM. This is the third photo of yours I remember. One sitting on a couch, one sitting on rocks at a lake (it seemed to me), and this one of your beautiful kitty.
    Bob/PKB

MCM, I do remember that photo! Thought you looked like a nice person, trim and fit, too.

Ilook like my avatar, but only better, i wish ---

    Tommyh

    I wish I still looked like mine.LOL

People look at my user name and expect a woman with a big chest, in actuality I am a man with a big chest...  No only kidding, just another soft man in his 60's who is balding gracefully!  The name is for my late dog, Buster, or Bustie...

    Bob/PKB

It's nice to clear up that mystery!!! :D

That IS what I thought at first, but I was here the day you explained it, not too long after your arrival, so I remembered it had been your dog's name. I didn't know that you had a big chest though. LOL!!
    mycatsmom

for some time, I thought you were a woman too......b/c of your screen name.
    itsmee

LOL ... I have always been too polite to ask that question. Thank You.

    digger

Even more charming that we think? Wow!!! I'm at a loss for words.
    mycatsmom

Digger's pic was on here once, and even Colleen said to him, "You're so dang good lookin' "

everybody tries to put a face behind the words, whether you like the words or not..nice talking....................................................................................................................................

Look at my Photo. You can see how handsome I am but you would be surprised when you meet me that I am even better looking.
