I got followed by a group of dogs. I was terrified but luck was with me and the lead dog took over and walked me out of the cup de sac.

It was when my husband died. And a close 2nd was the day my mother died. The day my dad died was horrlble too . I'm always alone and the only family member there when they die, b/c I only have one brother and he lives in another state. I don't have any familiy members in this area of the state where I live.My step-daughter lives in another state just south of here.

He was nearly 86!..So he had a good innings!..Just such a shock as he was so fit,swimming,driving,gardening etc...working until one month before his death!...Just went in for a routine op!...Or so we thought!

Im really happy for you that you came out in the one piece (I hope) when you run from a dog or dogs, they can sense your fear ,and chase you even more. So far I have been lucky.

The day my incredible Father was killed in a head-on crash down near Ely, Nevada....the woman in the on-coming truck had a Desert-mouse running up her leg at the time....so she freaked out and...well....she ended up killing my wonderful amazing ever-loving Paw whom I shall miss....'til we meet again.

I had a very good day and yes, there was lots of cake. My friends got a sheet cake, would you like some? Have Chinese food too, plenty of left overs. Come on down and bring the girls! :) Thank you for your lovely words. Pure energy for my soul :) xx

Happy Birthday, Colleen. Your sheet cake is probably gone by now but I'll beam me and a red velvet sheet cake your way. lindilou? Is that your favorite? I aim to please and will be bringing my coconut frosting white cake - 4 layers.

Thank you itsmee. I doubt all of the cake will be eaten. A lot of it will probably end up in the trash. Red velvet cake however would always be finished even if I have to freeze some of it. :)
