Do you mean that each one of us must be prepared to live without leaning on another ... a spouse, a friend, some other relative. It's good to have friends but there are times in life when friends may be scare and we should know how to go it alone. This is why I am (maybe) going to start driving lessons. I have Anxiety Disorder and driving scares me. If I were totally alone I'd have some real problems.

Are you prepared to live solo?

T Y,Itsmee, for trying to ferret out what sakumo means in his/her question

I do fine in small towns, bastion. I do fine on narrow mountain roads. I do not do fine on 4 lane divided roadway with a 50 mile speed limit. It's crowded. People have mean faces when they drive. They go over the speed limit. We'll see.

    Please rephrase. Makes no sense.

It makes sense to me, Clonge. I wish they'd spell it out a bit better though.

I think it was written by someone for whom English is his/her second language.

You're probably right, or it was written by someone who is the product of the inferior American educational system.
