I'm celebrating today by watching the The Tour Down Under with a beer, it is televised live , by any chance do you have the pleasure of seeing it, there are fantastic shots of my home city of Adelaide, South Australia, beautiful day of 32c (89.6 F). :) - The 4th of July is celebrated here as there are a large number of Americans living here in OZ. - firewoks and all.:)

Terry, i do agree with you with the govt. letting in certain refugees who will never simulate into society, as far as the aboriginies go i think the hatred has lessen with their idea of Invasion Day.

Bullet, Sam Adams is a good beer. I do not know if they export. We have many microbrewed beers here, I bet you do too. I remember going to the Castleman brewery in Brisbane and having their XXXX, it was great.

Bustie, I'm afraid i hav'nt the taste for xxxx, but i have seen Samual Adams in the bottle shops, we have a shop here called Dan Murphies, they stock almost all beers from overseas, next time i visit i will try Sam Adams, if you can, try Coopers Pale Ale, its the only Aussie beer that ferments in the bottle, the longer you keep it the better it gets, there is no shelf life for this beer.

MsBob, i forgot Americans do not do history other than your own country, original Aussie were all convicts to start with, Mother England figured it would be hard to escape back to England, as usual the Poms had their heads up their Backsides, they were wrong of course.
