My wife & I are both blue eyed blondes. Our kids tell us that we could easily pass for brother/sister.But that didn't happen gradually.We were very similar even when we first met.Perhaps that was the attraction.

Hello harDchixX28 ... it's a soul mate thing.
Cute and sweet. Nothing we can do about it if we, as humans are with our soul mate, we actually tend to meld.
One was to pay attention to many more species that reside upon this planet... it happens naturally. Always and without question.
One minute you are yourself, the next minute you find your soul mate... bing, bang, boom... you both look like each other.
It is nature as nature intended. If this was not intended to be, most elk would not look like each other. .... most cardinal fish would not look like each other and I can tell you for fact.... budgies only put on the 'flair' to be different ("Pay attention to me!"), and then they only desire to be the same ... just because a budgerigar spends a whole lot of time looking different does not for five minutes mean that, a little very small hollowed boned bird does not want to find it's soul mate. They spend a lot of time each and every day snuggling up.
It is all about the soul mate. Nature of the Beast. We go where we flow.
We seek for love and for acceptance. We seek for our soul mate.

I think because they take on each others characteristics, what they laugh at, how they talk, think, walk and even begin to dress alike such as same jackets or shirts, perhaps they dress in the same colors a lot. They can even sport similar hair styles, same hair color and have the same color eyes as each other. Pretty soon they blend so well together that a person looking at them can only see the similarities between the two. This is what causes the appearance of the couple looking alike.

My mate and I are VERY opposite! Our doctor could not believe we were mates! However I put forth a cool and calm aura where as he he a total WOWWEE! HERE I AM!

itsmeeclu, Look at your newspaper (if you still have one!) The wedding page is hilarious. The married and engaged couple sure enough do look alike. However, my husband and I don't look alike. Never have. Never will. I like the way he looks but I'm oh so glad he doesn't look anything like me!
We both love Big Bang Theory but that's about as far as our similarity goes. clu, I am kinda like your husband and you are a bit like my husband. I have ALWAYS wanted to be cool and calm. Going through life with diagnosed Anxiety Disorder is not so simple. Anxiety is my middle name.

I think it's because when they are young adults, they subconciously look for someone who resembles them or some loved- one in their family . .........b/c that's what they know, so they feel safe.When my neice got married people said they looked like brother and sister , b/c they both had big eyes, and similar hair color and other features. Ditto for her husband looking like her brother.
