Have you checked for leaks under the car or leaks inside the engine? Do you ever smell burning oil?

No visual leaks, ground, or engine, maybe once, faded smell, after putting in 1 quart low, and again almost a month later,....has 0ver 200+ miles, well taken care of from looks of engine and inside, smells as car has been stored , as in a old smell,..
The only thing I can think of is the rings need to be replaced. The oil could be leaking internally which is why you do not see the leaks. You will want to get new valve seals too. The spark plugs are a good clue if the rings are leaking. One or more will look bad, burnt and may smell of oil. Look at the tailpipe, is it charcoal black from too much black exhaust? Again, this would show oil leaking and mixing with the gas.
